Adaptive FOV is the idea worth understanding: the assist narrows or widens with range, so it stays useful clearing a room and stays plausible at eight hundred metres. Config profiles cover the rest. Milsim servers have active admins, so restraint matters more than settings. Stocked with our own keys.
Adaptive FOV needs a range band set on install. Left at defaults it behaves like a fixed assist, which wastes the reason to pick this build.
